Europe is sleep-walking towards disaster!
When the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, did we think we would see the return of barbed wire fences in Europe? Or internal borders within the Schengen area of Europe? Or member states such as Britain voting to leave the EU?
The break-up of the European Union would strip us of our rights as citizens of Europe. It would pull up the democratic anchor the EU represents for member states.
That is why we are calling on Europe Day 2016 for a Day of Awakening.
With your help we want to Wake Up Europe!
We want to come together to think, to talk and to act.
In locations around Europe we are holding screenings of Annalisa Piras' and Bill Emmott's The Great European Disaster Movie to mark Europe Day 2016, the Day of Awakening.
The screenings will be followed by discussion and debate about what we as citizens can do to save Europe from itself.
Join us - and help us to Wake Up Europe!
